In February-March 2015, one year after the beginning of the marriage-as-performance «Body and Borders», Maria Kulikovska realized that she could not have children due to her own invisible place in the society waiting for emigration documents. She was in undefined status through the borders, war, government. She has no place to go back. «My Pregnant Wife with Pregnant Me» is an artistic form of the artist's internal conflicts, which transform her body and creativity, which do not give calm, which are needed for visualization. «My Pregnant Wife with Pregnant Me» is an attempt to find shelter and safe place for liberation.
