Just two months before the conflict and revolutionary events in Kyiv, Ukraine, and then the annexation of Crimea and further militants action on the territory of Lugansk and Donetsk regions, Maria Kulikovska conducted a performance-scream in anticipation of conflict that was about to happen. The performance as well as its name avoids direct interpretations, although the desperate cry undoubtedly conveys the feelings of the artist trapped in a cage of the patriarchal system.
