8 Girlfriends

8 watercolor paintings were created by Maria Kulikovska as New Year presents for 8 workers of the Odesa Fine Arts Museum, whereby the Kulikovska's exhibition «My Body is My Business» took place at OFAM, which was visited by more than 4 thousand people a month. In the watercolors, the artist depicted mutating, rapidly exciting forms close to the female breasts that are spawned, spread on the surface of the paper for architectural drawings. Pink-blooded colors enter into a conflict dialogue with brown-green, blue and yellow shades. Their saturation together with saturation of vibrating forms create a watercolor series full of body sounds — the series «8 Girlfriends».
